- Collectively, the manufactured home owners have a greater investment than does the manufactured home park owner." (MHFP Act Sec 16B.1c)
- Seniors & veterans cannot even give their homes to their family members unless they LIVE with them!

- Does not respect the people's voice- 95% of residents said "NO" to placing this on the June ballot. (2-29-12 Council Meeting)
- Majority voting KILLS CITIZEN PARTICIPATION- the average candidate is not going to be able to fund two elections-
- Having 2 election cycles costs taxpayers more than twice as much and June ballots costs more than November ballots.
- Makes Oceanside more like City of Bell & subject to fiscal abuses!
- Takes away local control!
- Gives too much power to out-of-town lobbyists and their money- POWER GRAB!
